The terms,
in plain words.

These terms are the agreement between you and Mapa. Using Mapa means you accept them. The privacy page says what Mapa does with your family’s information.

Who runs Mapa

Bytalos LLC runs Mapa. For anything about these terms or your plan, contact support or write to [email protected].

Who Mapa is for

Mapa is for the adults who run a family. You need to be 18 or older. Children don’t have accounts. Add details about a child only if you’re a parent or guardian, or an adult the family has asked to help.

Your account

Your family’s information

What you add to Mapa stays yours. You give Mapa permission to store it and to process it to run the service for your household: sorting it, reminding you, and showing it to the adults you invited. Add only information you have the right to share.

What Mapa is not

Plans and payment

Fair use

Don’t use Mapa to break the law, to get into another family’s space, to send automated or bulk requests, or to store things you have no right to share. Mapa can pause or close an account that does, or that puts other families or the service at risk.

Leaving

You can download your family’s data and delete your account in Settings whenever you like. If Mapa closes your account, you’ll be told why and given the chance to download your data first, unless the law prevents it.

If something goes wrong

Mapa works to keep the service running and your information safe, but it can’t promise the service will never be interrupted or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, Mapa isn’t responsible for losses it couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, or for a missed date or reminder. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that the law says can’t be limited.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, Mapa will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. If you keep using Mapa after that, the new terms apply.
